This Privacy Policy explains how FleetStat ("FleetStat," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use the FleetStat web application at myfleetstat.com, our browser extension (FleetStat — Turo Sync), and related services (collectively, the "Service").
FleetStat is operated by Bryan Kilpatrick, sole proprietor, based in the State of Georgia, United States. Contact: support@myfleetstat.com.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: your email address and a password (stored only as a salted cryptographic hash; we never store your plaintext password).
- Profile information: optional fields you choose to provide, such as first name, last name, and phone number.
- Fleet data: information you enter about your vehicles, trips, customers, expenses, maintenance, and claims.
- Uploaded files: CSV or ZIP files you upload containing your Turo transaction, trip, or earnings history.
- Payment information (if applicable): if and when FleetStat begins charging for paid plans, billing details will be collected and processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Log and device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and timestamps, used for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
- Session cookies: a short-lived authentication token used to keep you signed in.
- Consent records: when you create an account we record the date, time, and IP address at which you accepted the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.
1.3 Information collected by the browser extension
The FleetStat — Turo Sync browser extension (the "Extension") is designed to eliminate the manual CSV-download step. When you click Sync Now, the Extension:
- Reads your Turo host earnings data from a Turo tab you have already signed into, by issuing a request in the context of that tab (so your existing Turo session is used). The Extension does not read, store, or transmit your Turo username or password.
- Sends the retrieved trip and earnings data to the FleetStat server
(
api.myfleetstat.com) over HTTPS, authenticated with an extension token you generated inside FleetStat. - Stores the extension token locally using
chrome.storage.localso you do not have to paste it on every sync.
The Extension does not read, collect, or transmit data from any site other than
turo.com, and it does not track your browsing history.
2. How we use information

3. How we share information
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, our hosting provider, email delivery provider, and, if applicable, a payment processor). These providers may process your information only on our instructions and for the purposes of providing their service to us.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of FleetStat, our users, or others.

5. Security

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time from the Settings page, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to request deletion, the right to data portability, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.
